Abstract
As Americans age, health-care providers will be faced with new and challenging issues related to the care of older adults. One critical issue unique to the aging population is polypharmacy. Cancer-related medications can add to the complexity of this issue. As oncology APs, we are perfectly positioned to assess and manage our patients’ pharmaceutical agents to help avoid this very serious health threat.
