Sharing AP Perspectives & Practice in Treatment and Management of Patients With Desmoid Tumors
Desmoid tumors are rare, locally aggressive, nonmetastatic mesenchymal growths known for their slow progression, high rates of recurrence, and unpredictable clinical course. During a recent JADPRO Best Practices Summit, moderator Tammy Triglianos, DNP, ANP-BC, AOCNP, of UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, Chapel Hill, and the 14 other advanced practitioners (APs) in attendance discussed their real-world experiences to address barriers and provide insight into the ideal state of care for patients with these noncancerous yet challenging masses.
Take a look at the short videos below featuring four AP experts from the Best Practices Summit, highlighting their clinical experiences with managing desmoid tumors. Then download our new infographic resource guide on what APs need to know about these rare tumors, and share it with your colleagues.
